At Miami Boat Rental, we strive to provide our customers with the best possible experience. We understand that plans may change, and unforeseen circumstances can arise. This Refund Policy explains our guidelines for cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling, ensuring transparency and fairness for all parties.

 

1. Cancellation and Refund Guidelines

 

1.1 Full Deposit Refund

 

• Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the reservation date are eligible for a full refund of the deposit.

• Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

 

1.2 Cancellations Within 7 Days

 

• Cancellations made within 7 days of the reservation date will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

• No refunds will be issued for cancellations during this period.

 

1.3 Same-Day Cancellations and No-Shows

 

• Cancellations made on the day of the tour, or failure to show up at the designated meeting point, will result in the loss of the full deposit.

• No refunds will be issued in these cases.

 

2. Changes to Reservations

 

We understand that plans may need to be adjusted. Here are our guidelines for changes to reservations:

 

2.1 Date and Time Changes

 

• Changes to the reservation date or time are subject to availability and must be requested at least 7 days prior to the original tour date.

• While we cannot guarantee all requests, we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

• If the new date or time is unavailable, the original cancellation policy will apply.

 

2.2 Weather and Safety Adjustments

 

• In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to modify or cancel tours for the safety and enjoyment of our guests.

• If we cancel the tour, you will be offered the choice to:

• Reschedule for a future date.

• Receive a full refund, including the deposit.

 

3. Refund Exclusions

 

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

1. Late Arrivals:

• Guests are required to arrive at the meeting point at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

• A maximum waiting period of 1 hour will be allowed. If the guest does not arrive within this period, the reservation will be canceled, and the deposit forfeited.

• If the guest arrives within the 1-hour window, the tour will begin, but the reservation time will start counting from the originally scheduled departure time.

2. No-Shows:

• Failure to appear for the tour without prior notification will result in the loss of the deposit.

3. Last-Minute Cancellations:

• Cancellations made on the day of the reservation will not be eligible for refunds.

• It may take 5–7 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your payment provider.

• No cash refunds will be issued for reservations paid through electronic transfer or card.

We recognize that unexpected situations can occur. For extraordinary cases not covered under this policy (e.g., medical emergencies or unavoidable travel disruptions), please contact us directly. We will review these requests on a case-by-case basis to determine if an exception can be made.
